Grammy Award–winning Mojo Morgan, founding member of Morgan Heritage, has released his long-awaited solo project ‘Jamaica Love’. The 9-track EP blends reggae with country, soul, and global rhythms in what Mojo calls Rasta Rock, an extension of his work with Morgan Heritage. The EP already made it into the Top 5 of the US reggae iTunes Chart.

Opening with the words of H.I.M. Haile Selassie I on When The Father Calls, the project features collaborations across generations and includes singles like DreamsJamaica LoveMountain Song (with brother Gramps and his son Esh Morgan), and Make It alongside Popcaan, Chronic Law, and Pablo YG. Dedicated in part to his late brother Peetah Morgan, the EP marks both a tribute and a new step on Mojo’s personal musical path.

As Mojo Told Natasha Williams of the Jamaica Star: “I am Jamaican, so everything! do is authentic. I’m not the inner-city kid from Kingston, I’m from Brooklyn – born and raised, but Jamaica is in my DNA. I’m who you’d call a ‘Yankie Boy who come from the slums of Brooklyn to the countryside of Jamaica and makes it home and becomes a household name on a little island, 2,000 miles away.”

Following the success of the Morgan Heritage 2.0 World Tour, Mojo now shares his solo vision directly with fans worldwide, bringing reggae into fresh spaces with his unique sound and perspective.
