In 1989, Wayne took his talents across the Atlantic to Canada, where he performed alongside legendary figures like Mikey Soul and Sonatone Sound. His ability to captivate audiences led to collaborations with top Canadian sound systems such as King Turbo, Soul to Soul, and the iconic Downbeat from New York. His energy and skill left an indelible mark on the Canadian sound system community, further cementing his global influence.
Returning to the UK in 1990, Wayne continued his musical journey with the creation of New Sensation Sound in 1991. Today, New Sensation Sound remains a cornerstone of the reggae sound system culture. Wayne and his sound have played alongside reggae legends like Bodyguard Sound, King Addies, Stonelove, Metro Media, and Killamanjaro. His influence extended beyond the UK to places like Miami, where he performed with icons such as Tony Matterhorn, Fire Links, and Suzy Q.
