After taking home the Best Original Song award at Jamaica’s Best School Band Season 12, the Royalty Band from Herbert Morrison Technical High continues to shine. Their winning track, “Baby Please”, led by vocalist Hannah Lyons, not only impressed the judges but also captivated audiences in the semi-finals, where their performance was featured on JBSB’s official YouTube channel.
As part of their prize, the band stepped into the legendary Mixing Lab Studio in Kingston to professionally record the song, a first-class opportunity that has launched many of Jamaica’s greatest sounds. With tight arrangements, youthful energy, and a polished stage presence, Royalty Band showed why Herbert Morrison has become a breeding ground for musical excellence.
