Meta and the Cornerstones, led by frontman Meta Dia, have released “Good Spirit”, the first single from their upcoming album Echoes of Time. When asked, Meta told us that the track reflects on resilience, giving strength to conscious voices and peace makers who continue bridging the gap between people, without getting lost in a virtual atmosphere where manipulation is easy. As Meta himself puts it: “Consciousness is not for sale.”
Good Spirit was recorded at Peter Gabriel’s legendary Real World Studios, produced by Meta himself. The musicians on the track are Rupert Mackenzie on bass, Kubix on guitar, Saymon on drums, Daniel Adelaide, and Fayce on keys. The track was mixed by Shane Brown, mastered by Chris Scott at Castek Systems, with Katie May (winner of Recording Engineer of the Year 2025) behind the recording desk.
The single is released on Baco Records and sets the tone for what’s to come on Echoes of Time.
