Putting her own hometown on the map!! Shuga releases her new cover of Bobby Bloom’s “Montego Bay”, flipping this 1970 classic into a warm reggae tribute to the place that shaped her. Produced by Donovan Germain with Dean Fraser on sax, the track, released by VP Records, feels like Shuga claiming her hometown in her own voice. It’s the first single from her upcoming album Girl From Montego Bay, due next spring, and it sets the tone for a project rooted in identity, memory, and the Jamaica she carries with her.
