The song is about Ibrahim Traoré, a 37-year-old interim president of Burkina Faso and currently Africa’s youngest head of state. A former army captain, he took power in September 2022 through a military coup. Traoré is known for his strong anti-colonial stance, distancing the country from France, aligning with Russia and China, and promoting Pan-African unity. While praised by many young Africans for his bold leadership, his rule has also drawn criticism for human rights concerns and a worsening security crisis.
