Review | Protoje & Chronixx – Who Knows

Approximately fifteen years ago, a “reggae revival” breathed new life into the genre, bringing back the conscious vibes of classic reggae. One of its leading voices was Protoje, born Oje Ollivierre in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica, and son of musical parents Lorna ‘Breakfast In Bed’ Bennett and Mike Ollivierre. Artists like Chronixx and Raging Fyah joined him in this resurgence, honoring the legacy of artists like Bob Marley and Burning Spear.

Chronixx contributed the song’s catchy hook, a collaboration initiated by producer Phillip ‘Winta’ James, a former keyboard player for Damian Marley.
