This is a rock-solid roots riddim from Nantes, France based label Ting-A-Ling, composed and played by French reggae lover Krone (with guitar by Fred Ledoux) and mixed by the fellow label co-founder Mateo, with three tracks voiced respectively by Jah Mason, King Lorenzo and Jojo Glady.
Holland based Jojo’s Make Up Your Mind was the first track to use the meditative riddim, hence the title. He has a fine if slightly younger sounding voice on this plea for more love than the ever-so slightly r’n’b inflected singing of Lorenzo from St. Ann, Jamaica on Rocky Road, whilst Jah Mason is instantly recognisable with his fiery delivery and conscious lyrics on Watching The World– but all three are well worth hearing.
