RIDDIM RELEASE
Nearly four decades after King Jammy dropped the one-riddim LP Duck Dance Competition, a ten-track showcase of the Duck Dance Riddim, built by Steely & Clevie, the popular digi dancehall riddim is back. Originally propelled by Red Dragon’s hit Duck, a tribute to the popular dance craze of the time, the riddim also launched hits like Ninja Man’s More Reality and Chaka Demus’ Bad Bad Chaka. Now, Jammy “Jam2” James, son of King Jammy, has reactivated the original riddim track for his latest set: Duck Attack. This brand new collection features twelve fresh tracks from dancehall heavyweights including Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Aidonia, Ce’Cile, Devonte, and New Kidz, plus a crisp instrumental version.
