The Dancehall President, Jamaican artist Skarra Mucci, joined forces with French musician/producer Manudigital for the release of an EP titled Ragga Blasta. This 6-track project taps into a spectrum of musical influences, blending genres with finesse and fire. The title track, Ragga Blasta, kicks things off with a fusion of reggae roots and hip-hop. Angel channels old-skool energy, riding a ragga/hip-hop beat and featuring a sample from Likkle Devon. On Freedom Fighter, thunderous basslines collide with a rapid-fire, addictive chorus. The mood shifts with Inna Mi Brain, a reflective rub-a-dub piece that is followed by Feel It. This ska-fueled tune features the electrifying vocals of Queen Omega. The EP ends with Natty, where Skarra Mucci’s raw, expressive lyrics float over Manudigital’s dreamy dub production.
