Kadeem Wilson, aka Kenzic, actor, musician, and educator, released a new track alongside Agent Sasco called ‘TOP RANKIN’. The song comes straight out of Kenzic’s own experience in Kingston. On one day alone, he was stopped three times by the police, only because he and his bredrin were driving a Benz. What should have been a simple journey turned into profiling, harassment, and intimidation.
Instead of glorifying the old-school rudeboy image, Kenzic turns the spotlight on the real “Top Rankins” in his eyes: the police who misuse their power. His verses reflect the struggles that many Jamaicans face daily when dealing with authority.
On the track, he is joined by Agent Sasco. Sasco’s deep and commanding delivery strengthens the message, reminding listeners that while injustice is real, the people will not stay silent. Kenzic shared his excitement about the release with World A Reggae:
